Do not let your GPS  take you to High St. in Seven Mile, OH (with same Zip Code) or to Miami’s campus on University Blvd. (with same Zip Code) or to Miami’s main campus in Oxford

From I-75 (Cincinnati, Dayton)

  • Take I-75 north or south to SR-129 Hamilton
  • Travel west on 129 for about 10 min.
  • SR-129 becomes High Street in Hamilton after you cross SR-4
  • The intersection after the underpass is MLK Blvd.; cross over it (if not closed for festival)
  • The next intersection is Third Street. You should see a statue of Alexander Hamilton in the middle of High Street. MUH-Downtown is to the left of the statue (between Third and Second Streets; next to Ryan’s Tavern)

From I-275 (west side Cincinnati, Indiana)

  • Take I-275 to SR-27 north
  • Exit onto SR-130 Hamilton-Cleves Road and Ross, Ohio
  • Follow SR-130 past Pyramid Sculpture Park to Hamilton. Option 1: turn right at Columbia Bridge and then left onto River Road after you cross bridge and follow to reach High St. Option 2:  continue straight on SR-129 a few more blocks to High-Main Bridge and turn right
  • MUH-Downtown is 2 1/2 blocks up on the right (between Second and Third Streets; next to Ryan’s Tavern)

From SR 27 or SR 177 (Oxford or Preble County, OH)

  • SR-27 south to Old Oxford Road (SR-130)
  • Turn right onto SR 177 (Main Street in Hamilton, OH)
  • Main St. turns into High St. after the Main-High Bridge; all of it is SR-177
  • OR follow SR-177 into Hamilton continuing straight on Main St., crossing Main-High Bridge to High St. MUH-Downtown will be on your right, 2 1/2 blocks up, between Second and Third Streets)

Watch for street closings near Third St. (when coming in SR 129) and after the bridge (when coming from SR 128 or SR 177) during Operation Pumpkin. Parking on street is free after 5 on Friday and all day Saturday. There are two parking garages in Hamilton: one at the corner of North Third and Market Sts. and one on the corner of MLK Blvd. and Court St. (accessed from Court St.)
